LeBron Raymone James Sr. is a American basketball player who is a player for the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. The player is dubbed King James and is considered to be one of the greatest basketball players of all time. James has won two Olympic golds and four NBA championships. James has scored more points in the playoffs, has had the second highest total of points throughout his career, and ranks seventh among career assists. James is the NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, the most in history. He was also selected for be on the NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. In total, he has played in 10 NBA Finals. This is the third most of all. The eight Finals were in consecutive order between 2011-2018. In 2021, James was selected to be part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 became the first basketball player in NBA history to have accumulated at least 10,000 career points rebounding and assists. James was an athlete at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, in Akron Ohio. He received lots of attention from the media about the prospect of his NBA stardom. James was a pre-pro and was first selected to The Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft of 2003. He was named by the NBA most promising rookie in the 2004. He soon became one of the premier players in the NBA as he won the NBA MVP Award both as of 2009 and in 2010. After failing to win a championship with Cleveland James left in 2010 as a free agent in order to join Miami Heat. Miami Heat this was announced on television in the special The Decision and is among the most controversial free agent decisions that sports has ever seen.
